Programmes
We broadcast
five daily news bulletins in Nepali language, and four weekly news
bulletins in local language like Magar, Gurung and Bhojpuri such
that Bhojpuri news is given twice a week. The sources of news for
the station are its shareholders, reporters, hospitals, police,
and the like.
The station
feels the necessity of disseminating the national and international
news among the local people. It is the responsibility of the station
to produce listenable programmes by gathering the information of
the changes taking place in the national and international levels,
the important achievements in the science and technology, the story
of success and failure, newness and enlargement in art and tradition,
and the history of mankind. Briefly speaking, it has to broadcast
the bulletins that are useful to people's mind which would make
them independent and enthusiastic citizens.
News is one of the most important programmes of radio lumbini. It
is presented in local language to make it understandable to the
local people. We focus at providing local news which is beneficial
to the community people and provides real fact. We do not blame
any culture or any community but do expose the real matter through
the news.
