Good governance
is central to creating and sustaining an environment that focuses
on strong and equitable development and is essential complement
to sound economic policies.
The core concept
of good governance is that in the development process the support
and involvement of all agencies like central government, constitutional
bodies, corporations, local governments, international non-governmental
organizations and finally the allied civic societies is a must.
The first and most essential element for good governance is stability
of the government. For good governance decentralization, public
participation, rule of law, transparency and fixed age of government
is essential. All democratic norms and values should be included
in governance mechanism. The state power should be implemented according
to public interest and welfare. Corruption is one of the main barriers
of good governance.

official elements of governance.
3. Competence of governments to make
policy and deliver services.
